Well..this picture was taken about this time last year. Micah definitely didn't let me forget that God had blessed me with motherhood last year or this year. Last year, I got very little sleep and cried several times during the day because I was exhausted and had a very fussy baby. How could that sweet, sleeping baby in the picture have fussed so much? Well..the good news is that this Mother's day was much better. We went to church with my family in Coats and enjoyed a nice view of the pond most of the afternoon. Then, we came home and enjoyed watching the rain...yes, our neighbors caught us all just sitting at the window staring at the rain. It's fun, free and cheap entertainment. I recommend it!
I am SO very thankful that God has gifted me with this precious child. He has taught me (and Jon) that we can't do this on our own. Thanks be to God that he equips us to take on this task!

Jen, you are such a blessing. I thank God for you and I thank Him for allowing me to watch you in motherhood. You are a natural! Micah is a blessed little fellow to have you as his mom!!! I love you! MOM
