Enjoying the warm weather!

We have really enjoyed great weather. Of course, today it is 45 degrees...last week, the weather was mid 70s to lower 80s. We went to Shelley Lake with Aunt Ali and had a nice walk. Ali taught Micah (unintentionally) how to spit. I don't think that's something that we should brag about, but it was pretty funny when Ali and I were feeding the ducks spit and Micah attempted to join in! There's no telling what else Aunt Ali will teach him! Friday, Dana and I went on a tulip hunt. She's had some really severe allergies, so we were going to enjoy tulips from the car, but they were irresistable. We went to the WRAL gardens and Micah was mesmerized by real, LIVE grass! It was very thick and soft...definitely much different from our dead, spiky weeds in our front yard! Dana and I absolutely love tulips..and unfortunately, it's hard to enjoy them (just a couple of weeks a year). She had been feeling really sick from allergies, but we had to take pictures. When we were done, she said that it's amazing that something so beautiful as Tulips can make you forget how bad you feel or how tired you are...isn't that the truth? I am so thankful that God gives us such beauty to enjoy. His creation is so beautiful and we take it for granted so frequently. Micah and I headed to Coats after our tulip hunt to spend time with family. We had even more fun enjoying the nice weather and our old house (on the pond). Micah always has fun w/my family, especially cousin Sydney and I always enjoy relaxing and letting my family entertain my child! :) Thank you, Lord for such a beautiful, hot day filled with friends and family!
