I tried to upload a video of the dancing but it didn't work..there were probably 50 people out there watching and dancing..so cute
Our best Beijing outing so far was our trip to this park with Wes and Avery. It was beautiful in many ways..there was a nice pond with huge lily pads..you could actually take these pretty boats out as well (we were too cheap for that). Also, it was not crowded..which is always a plus. There were different areas of the park where there was music, dancing and even singing..it was a great cultural experience. My favorite part was the dancing..the people were just relaxing in the park doing some form of dancing..it was a little more formal (like ballroom in some ways) but the music was part techno and part live instruments..very interesting. Noone wanted to dance with me so I had to settle for watching others..when Lyddie is old enough, I'm sure I'll have a dance partner.
